Embracing New Growth

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
The Thriver lives in the reality of the new creation.
The old season of survival is gone; the season of flourishing is now.
Identify one “old thing” (habit/mindset) you are leaving behind today.
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and all things have become new. The old life has passed, every memory of the old life has passed, every bad thing we have ever done has been taken care of under the blood that was shed by Jesus. We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We have been legally made free from sin. So we are free, free, free to live in the reality of this new creation. Jesus made us new creation beings. We are accepted in the beloved. We are known by name by our God.
Indeed, the old season of survival is gone, gone for good, a distant memory. We are now in the new season of flourishing and thriving. We have no room for old mindsets or any old way of thinking. Whatever it was that were habits, have now gone. We let them go. Forgetting those things which are behind, we press on to the high calling of God where we live in victory overcoming every sin in Jesus name.
Ask the Holy Spirit to train you in the new way of thinking in the new realities of Christ. He will give you the mindset of Christ and slowly you will forget every old thing and pick up on the new. The wisdom and favour of God will surround you in your every step.
