The Unchanging Anchor
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart”
God’s Word is living and active—it can penetrate and change any situation.
It remains the anchor of your soul when life’s storms threaten your stability.
A Thriver builds their house on the rock of scripture (Matthew 7:24).
The word of God is alive and active. It is the energy and life giving source from God our Father. The life in the word changes the very thoughts and intents of our heart and gives us the drive for each new day. We may start out life a particular way, but once we allow the word of God in to our lives, there is a complete change that takes place. The desires of our heart changes. The word has the power to penetrate any attitude or perception, given enough time to work in our lives, the word will allow joy to fill our hearts and change our perspective on things. The word causes us to take ownership of where we are at, physically and spiritually and actively allows change to take place. Even the prejudices we have are slowly broken down, giving us a new perspective on how we look at things.
The word becomes an anchor of our souls and no matter the chaos or storms of life, we are anchored in the word so we are not taken off track. The mindset of lack and insufficiency are chipped away as our faith in the word is developed daily. We begin to see possibilities even in the most difficult circumstances. The word can actually attack the debt in our lives and slowly chip away at it until we are debt free. The word makes us a financial partner with the word of God as we become aware of how our finances are attached to the economy of the word. Inflation does not even attach itself to our resources. We thrive!
