The Language of Faith
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.”
The language of faith, is a language that is spoken with boldness and authority. As a believer we are convinced that the word of God is true so we never allow ourselves to be intimidated by the circumstances we face nor the challenges that present themselves in our lives. If we get bad news, it does not cause us to fear or be anxious. Our hearts are fixed on Jesus and his word. Faith is being cultivated in our lives as we give ourselves to the word of God and to prayer.
As we develop in this God life, we start to speak differently. We learn the language of faith. We learn to speak to things, to challenges and to circumstances and command them to align themselves with the word and promises of God. You may start out timidly, but that soon fades as you begin to understand who you are in Christ. When sickness or disease hits your life, you understand that healing is your portion, so you speak to sickness and command it to go. The first time nothing may happen, but you, must stand your ground and boldly declare the word of the Lord regarding your healing. As you see the manifestation of healing and deliverance in your life, you get bolder and the authority level on your life increases.
You learn the faith language so you can keep the devil out of your life.
