Parenting with Wisdom

“Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward”
Children are a gift and we should treasure them. Any gift comes with responsibility and joy, the manner in which we handle the gift will bring returns of joy or sorrow and in the case of children we need the wisdom of God to bring them up in the fear of the Lord.
“Father, I ask You to give me strength and wisdom for the task of raising my children. I do not have the right to claim that I have done anything on my own. You give me what it takes to do all that I do. Hallelujah
In every situation, help me to remember that Your grace is all sufficient; that Jesus is made unto me wisdom. Your power works best in my weakness.
Father, my children are prone to foolishness and fads. I ask You for grace to apply the cure that comes through tough-minded discipline. In the name of Jesus, I will not make my children angry but will raise them with the training and teaching of the Lord.
Thank you, Lord, that You have given me wise words to speak so that I can teach my children to be kind. I will teach them right from wrong so that when they are grown they will still do right because they love You and desire to please You. I will discipline my children with love and resist the temptation to be domineering and demanding.
Father, even when I am tired and worn out, my children need me. I will watch over my children that You have entrusted to me with a willing heart. I won’t lord it over my children, but I will lead them by my own good example. I will teach my children Your words over and over again. Amen
Father we need your help even when we make mistakes, we know that you will restore what the enemy has stolen and give our children a blessed life, in Jesus name.
