Communicating your Faith

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“The eunuch replied to Philip, “Please tell me, about whom does the prophet say this? About himself or about someone else?” Then Philip spoke and beginning with this Scripture he preached Jesus to him [explaining that He is the promised Messiah and the source of salvation].”
Acts 8v34

Philip received an instruction from the Lord to go and attach himself to the Ethiopian on the chariot. Philip was clear about what he should do, so he followed the instruction. Once he came alongside the chariot, he heard the man reading the scriptures and immediately asked him if he could understand what he was reading. The response from the Ethiopian was “how can I understand except someone explain to me”. Immediately Philip went into action and began clearly explaining the scripture, sharing the gospel to the Ethiopian.

Family, we too have a mandate, to go into all the world and share the gospel. Jesus gave an instruction for the whomsoever to be saved. A person who has not heard the gospel and not received the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour, is destined to hell. Why? The word of God says, the only way to God is through Jesus Christ. this message of salvation has to be spread to the whomsoever. It’s urgent, it’s important and it is life-saving. Your communication of the gospel to people you meet in your walk or deliberately planned to meet, will ensure a soul goes to heaven, get to meet Jesus and live a better life.

Communicating Jesus, is communicating life for the present and for eternity. I beg of you, share Jesus, today.
