The Name of Jesus

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost”
Jesus has been given a name that is above every name. At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. There is no other name by which men can be saved. Jesus is our Shepherd. We who are his, know his voice and we do what he has asked us to do.
Jesus died on the cross for us and because of his sacrifice we are sin free, we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. We are justified, just as if we have never sinned.
Jesus has made us his family. He has brought us into reconciliation with God. We now have the ministry of reconciliation, whereby we lead others back to God. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus is our wisdom, our redemption, our sanctification and our righteousness. We come into the presence of the Father because of Jesus. God sees in through Jesus Christ.
As Believers, we have the right to use the name of Jesus. We have been given power of attorney to use the name of Jesus. When we speak in the name of Jesus, every power and principality is subject to us, through the name of Jesus. We are privileged to have the name of Jesus and have the right to use the name of Jesus.
