Baptised with Favour

When we speak of prosperity, we think of money and material resources. In the case of Joseph however he came into the house of Potiphar’s as a slave. He was purchased by Potiphar from the Ishmaelites. He came in with no money and no material resources. He literally had nothing, however he had the hand of God on his life. The blessing and favour of God was so strong on his life that it became evident to Potiphar. His master noticed that whatever he put his hands to do, prospered, that means it went well. The word actually says, whatever he did succeeded because God was with him. He pleased Potiphar and found favour in his sight. God wrapped Joseph with favour like a shield. He experienced favour with God and there was a overflow, so much so that he found favour with Potiphar.

Family of God, this kind of favour is not exclusive to Joseph alone. We the children/sons of God enjoy the same privilege. We have an added advantage, the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of us. We are his abiding place, we are his residence. Wherever we go, He goes. The hand of the Lord is with us and whatever we do must prosper. We are graced with skill to do exceedingly well in all that we do. We are creative and have ideas that go beyond natural skill to be problem solvers. We find favour with God and with man. We dominate the market place and excel in all we do because the Lord our God is with us. We carry an anointing that limits failure and breaks down strongholds. Nothing can stop us, we are unstoppable in this life. The Lord our God is with us and for us.

We are baptized with favour. What is it that you have to accomplish, know this, God is with you and you have his favour to be a success in this life. We read the story of Joseph and marvel at how God used him. Let God write your story, you are an atmosphere changer. Go and boldly do what God has called you to do, you are favoured and you are blessed.
