The Power of Prayer Uri
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another [your false steps, your offenses], and pray for one another, that you may be healed and restored. The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God—it is dynamic and can have tremendous power]. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours [with the same physical, mental, and spiritual limitations and shortcomings], and he prayed intensely for it not to rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Then he prayed again, and the sky gave rain and the land produced its crops [as usual].”
There is power in prayer. There is an anointing on each of us to pray. Prayer is communicating with the Father. Prayer is expressing our love to the Father. Prayer enhances the power in our lives. We have power and authority to command a situation in our prayer. We gain more authority and power as we spend time praying and practicing the presence of God. In our prayer time we begin to understand the love of God towards us and we are established in this love. We also get a revelation of the love of God. This is two fold. We understand the power of his love towards us and our love towards him. We also begin to understand how to love others as the central point is no longer ourselves. We start to look from inside out. Compassion in our hearts start to grow and a greater depth and quality of understanding begin to permeate our hearts. We are no longer the same.
In the presence of the lord there is freedom, liberty and fullness of joy and at his righ hand there are pleasures for ever more. Somehow, as you make prayer, a habit of choice, you begin to be more valuable as a person. Wisdom, knowledge and understanding become part of your lifestyle. People seek you out an even ask you to pray as you become a person of power that is apple to change situations because of the power working in your.
