Thankful for the Presence of God

“And when they had prayed, the place where they were meeting together was shaken [a sign of God’s presence]; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness and courage.”
Where there is the presence of God, there is fullness of joy and lasting peace. The presence of God transforms our lives and those around us. There is joy unspeakable in the presence of God. When we take the time to enjoy and practice the presence of God we see change and there is a tangible liberty that takes place. People are set free in the presence of God.
We are carriers of the presence of God, but when we come together as believers, the power and presence of God is available to us. We see signs, wonders and miracles taking place in the presence of God. We have the privilege of enjoying this beautiful presence to change our world. We are so grateful as a people that we can engage and enjoy the presence of God in our midst in a service or even in a meeting outside of our church. As we practice the presence of God, we see tangible changes that need no explanation.
