Double Loop of Love

We are God’s beloved. He loves us with an unconditional, unshakeable and undeniable love. His love never changes. His love is not dependent on how we behave and any self-effort works we might do. While we were yet in sin, Jesus died for us. We are saved by grace. The Holy Spirit has shed this love abroad our hearts. So, we do not just love and have love flowing out of our hearts because we are good. The love we have in our hearts is a supernatural love. This love is given to us by the Holy Spirit when we are born again. As we grow in the Lord, we find we cannot help but love others. It is not something we work at as we cannot love in our own strength or make up our mind to love. It is an outpouring from the spirit of God.

We are the family of God. God expects us to have a relationship with the family of God. Jesus says to us that it is a new commandment that He gives to us, that we love one another as He has loved us. Love in our lives is a witness to the world that we are His disciples. Love is a currency that is exchanged to bring rewards to others. The reward is acceptance and forgiveness. Love conquers all. Love over looks an offense. Love sees no wrong in others. Love is patient, love is kind. Love makes room for the wrongs of others and learns to accept others for who they are. Love in our hearts brings us peace and joy.

Embrace the love of God and build healthy relationships with this love of God. Having an abundance of love in a home, makes the home a warm and happy place.
