Thankful for Family

“Behold, children are a heritage and gift from the LORD, The fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. How blessed [happy and fortunate] is the man whose quiver is filled with them; They will not be ashamed When they speak with their enemies [in gatherings] at the [city] gate.”
Oh what joy we bring to the Father when we fellowship with Him. God loves us, his family. We too are to love and be a blessing to our family.
Children are a heritage that God gives us. Maybe you do not have children, no need to feel condemned, you have been blessed with the family of God. You can still enjoy the children around you and be a mentor to them by your lifestyle.
We are never alone, we have a family of believers around us that God has blessed us with. Let us, on this day, enjoy the blessing of family and friends around us. Let us give thanks unto the Lord for the people he has placed in our lives. They may be a challenge sometimes, but still they are there to bring increase and joy to our lives. In the challenges we all grow and begin to appreciate each other and realise the value and worth of each person.
We are challenged to love those around us, so we can value and appreciate the God of our salvation. Enjoy your day with your family and friends.
