Prayer : Ask God to Help you Understand

To have understanding is such an honour and a privilege. So many people have so many things and so much material stuff, but after chatting to them you realise there is no understanding at all in their lives. It’s as if they are going through life being blind.

We as the family of God, have a spirit of understanding and the bible says in Proverbs in all our getting, we should get understanding. The spirit of understanding increases our value as a person, because we are more compassionate and understanding of people and situations. I have to add at this point that as the spirit of understanding begins to fill your heart and mind, people begin to have more value to you. You begin to understand people and become more tolerant. Understanding creates a whole new world to you as a leader and a believer. In the understanding you learn to create boundaries for yourself and others. You never overstep and mind people’s business and you also learn to keep out of the drama. You love people but the spirit of understanding teaches you how to handle each situation. What an amazing gift from God. The Spirit of Understanding matures you emotionally
