Pray the Word

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.”
Isaiah 43v26

Prayer is communion with God. Prayer is saying, Abba Father you are important to me. I cannot do life without you. I remember your promises and when I come to your altar, I put you in remembrance of your word. Your word reminds me of your love for me and your word reminds you of what you have promised me. Your word builds faith in me, your word removes barriers from my life and forges my way forward.

The word of God says, man ought always to pray and not faint. In the book of James it says, the effectual, fervent, heartfelt prayer of a righteous man, makes tremendous power available. (James 5v17). When I come to the altar, Abba Father, the mountains of doubt and fear try to hinder me. I speak your word and the mountains crumble at the sound of your words coming from my mouth. It must obey and bow to the name of Jesus.

When we pray the word of God, we are praying according to the will of God. When we pray according to the will of God, we are sure that the Father hears us and we have what it is that we need. It may seem impossible but we have a creative God who can give us answers that amaze us and opens ways we thought that we would never travel. Our God is a God who makes us a wonder.

Prayer is a vital part of our lives so we need to cultivate a praying culture for ourselves and our family. The world has a culture which excludes God and His word. We have the right and privilege in our homes and lives to create a culture of prayer and the word of God. We are the family of God.
