The Language of Silence

“And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest. And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing”
What is silence?
Silence is the absence of ambient audible sound, the emission of sounds of such low intensity that they do not draw attention to themselves, or the state of having ceased to produce sounds. The absence of any form of communication.
There are seven reasons for silence, because of
1.The unthinkable 2.The unspeakable, the unsayable 3.The ineffable – unable to express in words 4.The inarticulable 5.The unnoticeable 6.The unknowable 7.The unconceptualizable.
This is what the world describes as silence. In the realm of the spirit, silence is also a language of confidence, you do not have to defend yourself even though your accuser is falsely accusing you, like Jesus before Pilot. Yes there are times when the truth is unthinkable and unspeakable, and therefore the Holy Spirit will allow you to keep silent before your accusers or even your family if the situation is that bad, eg. If a family is diagnosed with a terminal illness and the news will have a devasting effect on the family. The wisdom of God will prevail and allow you to keep the information until a more opportune time. So yield to the leading of the holy Spirit.
In the case of being falsely accused, there is no need to speak. Keep silent, God will be your defense. He will avenge you. he will avenge you in ways, you would never have thought of. He is the great Accountant, he will settle the score.
The language of silence is a practiced art and skill, not developed by yourself, it is a learning and training that comes by fellowship with the Holy Spirit. In fact in the realm of the spirit you can pray without words and pray in accordance with the will of God. The Holy spirit will pray on your behalf with groanings which cannot be uttered. What a glorious walk and life in Christ. Our Abba father keeps training us in the language of success to operate in this life. I find this wonderful, don’t you?
