The Thriver recognizes the Season

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.”
Psalm 110v3

We as believers operate in the power of the Holy Spirit. Without God we are nothing. We do life in our own strength and we find ourselves striving and toiling, everything seems to be hard and takes so long to accomplish. The thriver understands that there is another way to do life. His life is not by might, nor by power but by the spirit of the living God. The Thriver understands that Jesus came to given us life and life to the full till it overflows. The thriver also understands that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. The thriver has a keen sense of knowing, what season of life they are in. The Thriver leans on the Holy Spirit to keep them in the time of waiting as they are believing for a miracle or a manifestation of a victory in Jesus.

When we do not receive what we are praying for, it does not mean that God has said no or we will never have what we have asked for. It just means that the timing is not right. The request has been heard and answered, just like in the case of Daniel. The angel told Daniel that the day he made his request, God answered him but the evil angel withstood the angel from getting what Daniel had asked, to Daniel. It took 21 days to get to Daniel. Likewise, in our own lives. We ask for the will of God to be done in our lives. We make requests, we sow seed and we pray, however we need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us wait through the process of asking and receiving. The answer may not come the way we want it to, nor in the time we desire but I can guarantee you the answer will come. Be at peace, the Lord your God is with you. Jesus says, His peace he has given you. Stay in peace and enter into the rest of God, your season is coming.
