The Wealth of the Word

In the world, people are considered wealthy when they have lots of money and material things. There is nothing wrong with money and material things, provided you give God first place in your life. In our world, we are wealthy when we carry Jesus in our hearts and live in peace. Peace is unfathomable to the ordinary man. Fear seems to be the garments worn by many. It has become so familiar that it has become a fashion, even in the voice of those who are Christians, it is easier to speak fear than faith. It should not be so. We are faith beings. We were created by faith by a Faith God. Shake off the fear, wear the garments of faith, the breast plate of righteousness and soon you will realise how wealthy you are.

We have wealth when we can sleep, the word says, He gives his beloved sweet sleep. So many people have lots of money and can buy tablets to help them sleep. You and I have the Father who gives us peace that transcends all human understanding. I would say you are very wealthy when you have a good night’s sleep so you have a healthy body.

We have wealth when we are healthy and well, sickness and disease free with all our faculties working according to the way God ordered them to. No amount of money can replace and arm or even an eye. We can go to a God who can give us a creative miracle if we ever do suffer sickness or disease in this life.
