Releasing a Blessing

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” And he placed his hands on their heads and blessed them before he left.”
Matthew 19v14-15

Jesus called the children to him and blessed them. He released the blessing over their lives. The blessing was an empowerment to prosper in life. An empowerment to live this life with the ability of God resident on the inside of them.

The world would call this lucky. We who are of the household of God never use the word lucky, because the word luck comes from the word Lucifer and we know that it is the devil so we have no association with anything to do with the devil. So, we do not say you are “lucky”. We know better. We are blessed. We are blessed to be a blessing. We are empowered to prosper in this life.

When we understand the power of the blessing and how blessed we are, we release the blessing to our family and those associated with us. We use words to release this blessing over the lives of those in our lives. There is power in those words. You would rather bless than curse. We are not cursed, we are blessed. Jesus took the curse, and in its place, He has left a blessing over our lives.

I suggest to you, say words of blessing over the people in your life. No matter the situation, nor how people might annoy you, release words of blessings. You are releasing an empowerment, that goes beyond your understanding. Release a blessing!
