The Joy of the Secret Place
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
In the Old Testament, the secret place meant the holy of holies. In this place, only the high priest could enter and that too, only once a year. He went in to seek atonement for the sins of the people of Israel. He actually had a string attached to his ankle so that he could be pulled out, should he be struck dead because he was not pleasing to God. What a scary, daunting thought and also task.
We on the other hand, have the right and privilege to enter into the secret place, the curtain has been ripped from top to bottom in the physical tent. The curtain was removed on the day Jesus died on the cross. We were given access into the holy of holies. How? Through the blood of Jesus Christ. We have access to our heavenly Father through our prayer life and our fellowship with the word of God. The Holy Spirit removes the scale from our eyes and gives us a new and living way. In this secret place, God reveals himself to the greatest and the least of us. He waits patiently for us to seek him and fellowship with him.
Fellowshipping with the father brings you untold joy and a contentment you will only understand when you make a choice to fellowship with the father on a daily basis and get to know Him as He knows you.
