Being Persuaded
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“By patience and a calm spirit a ruler may be persuaded, And a soft and gentle tongue breaks the bone [of resistance]”
The entrance of the word, brings light. As we hear and obey the word of God, we become persuaded that God is able to provide for us, God is able to protect us and He has a perfect plan for our lives. Abraham was a good example, God had given him a promise that he would have a son, he was almost a hundred years old when the promise came to pass. Abraham never wavered. He knew, that he knew that God will keep his promise. God did.
The above scripture gives us an example of what persuades a ruler, it takes patience. Patience is a fruit of the spirit, so it is developed in our lives as we allow the Holy spirit to work in us. In order for you to persuade others of anything, you have to be convinced and persuaded yourself of the matter you wish to relay to others. How do you do this? By Faith and patience.
Please take the time to study the word of God and allow the Holy spirit to reveal the word to you so you can grow in faith and become persuaded in this God life. Become persuaded that our God is able to deliver on His promises. He created the earth and to this day it still stands, no matter how we earthlings have abused our earth, it still stands. If the world can stand because he spoke it into being. Will His promises not come to pass, because he spoke it?
God is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent. Take time to be persuaded about God.
