The Blessing of Being Known by Name
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“The LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered and reflected on My servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God [with reverence] and abstains from and turns away from evil [because he honors God].”
God knew Job by name. He knew him so, well, he could even brag about him. He knew him well enough to know that no matter what Satan threw at him, Job would never let God down or ever stop serving him. Through the trials of Job, he continued praise God. He never understood why he was going through the things he was going through, but he knew that God would never fail. He knew that there would come a day that God would rescue him. God rewarded him with double blessings and he was restored to his original health. What a testimony. God knows us by name. He knows the number of hairs on our head.
God knows our uprising and our down sitting. He knows where we at and how far we can go. He never gives us more than we can endure. When we are at our weakest, we are strengthened in his strength. He knows our names, he hears when we call. He opens the doors in our life that need to be opened and he also closes the doors that need to be closed. He removes things from our lives that need to be removed and he adds things to our lives that need to be added. He places tremendous value on our lives. We are his best creation and the best investment. His love for us is ever lasting and unending. His favour is for a lifetime.
