“Honor the LORD with your wealth And with the first fruits of all your crops (income); Then your barns will be abundantly filled And your vats will overflow with new wine.”
Wealth is a by-product of our benefits of salvation. A son or daughter of God cannot help but experience wealth in their lives over time. The secret to wealth is honouring God with what you have, then He will fill your barns with plenty and cause your vats to overflow with new wine.
You may say, but I have nothing. Yes, you do. You start off by giving him your life, honouring him with your life. Each day as you get up, commit your way to him and he will direct your path. Commit your children to him, that is your human capital that you are investing in him. You are saying Lord, I commit my children to you. Children are a heritage of the Lord, they are part of the wealth that God gives you. When you commit this human capital to God, you will see your children flourish and grow in every area of their lives. As their lives flourish, your health capital starts to grow. You walk in the blessing of peace because your family is blessed.
I trust you are getting to understand how important it is to honour God in every area of your life.
