Rebellious Decisions
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 1 min read

“And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.”
Moses and Aaron were commanded by God to strike the rock once so water can come forth to allow the Israelites to quench their thirst. Aaron and Moses were so frustrated with these people by this time that they called them rebellious. Instead of striking the rock once, in their anger, their struck the rock twice. It cost them. What did it cost them? They never entered the promised land but they were buried on the other side of the promised land. How sad was this. However, before we judge them, let us consider how many times were make decisions out of rebellion because we are angry and frustrated.
The word says, be angry but sin not. In our case we never know the consequences nor the loss we suffer because of our rebellious decisions. The cost to Moses and Aaron was too great but it is here to show us what we should not do. I implore you, keep the holy spirit as a close confidant so you always make wise decisions. I declare over your life, you make wise decisions all the time.
