Giving Without Fear

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”
One of my favourite scriptures in the bible. I refuse to court fear, it has been a large part of my life in my growing up years, so I hate it with a vengeance. The enemy loves to intimidate us with fearful thoughts. Thoughts of lack and insufficiency bombards our mind when it comes to giving of our resources into the house of God. “What if I do not have enough to pay my bills? What if I have an emergency? Does this giving thing work?” on and on the devil will badger you with almost any thought that will keep you from giving. Do not give in.
Obedience is better than sacrifice. Be willing and obedient and you will eat of the fat of the land, that means you will enjoy blessings untold and multiplication in every area of your life.
