Be Hospitable to the Household of God

Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 1 min read

“A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a dealer in purple fabrics who was [already] a worshiper of God, listened to us; and the Lord opened her heart to pay attention and to respond to the things said by Paul. And when she was baptized, along with her household, she pleaded with us, saying, “If you have judged me and decided that I am faithful to the Lord [a true believer], come to my house and stay.” And she persuaded us.”
Acts 16v14-15

This was a woman who was ministered to by Paul and on hearing the word of God she was so convinced she received the Lord as her personal saviour. Her joy and gratitude did not stop there. The gifting of hospitality immediately kicked in and she gave up of her home and resources so that the men of God could be taken care of. She opened up her home to take care of them. What a joy and privilege for her to host the men of God and receive the blessing in her home.

We have started home cells, open up your home as Lydia opened up her home and you will see blessings over flow into your house. Give generously and be hospitable, it’s a joy to be a blessing to others.
