Put Pressure on Fear

Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 2 min read

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control].”
2 Timothy 1v7

Fear is the opposite of faith. We were never created to fear, yet fear has become a part of our lives from the very beginning. We were told by our parents, “be careful”, “watch out, you will fall”, “do not go there because…” etc. They meant well, yet this slowly brought in fear and caused us to live life expecting the worst. I would like to recommend that you try and life your life not being afraid of the unknown. Step out in faith and overcome your fears. Decide in your heart to come out of your comfort zone and do things that you believed you could never do. I am not asking you to sin, no, not at all. I am asking you to be brave and be bold to speak out when things happen that you do not like. When someone is rude to you, do not cower in fear, stand up and in the most diplomatic and bold way, let them know they cannot speak to you anyhow. You are God’s special beloved son/daughter so no one has the right to take advantage of you. See yourself as God sees you.

I see you walking fear free, I see you no longer resisting change, you can embrace new and living ways, God is including in your life, starting today.
