Give Sacrificially
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 1 min read
“Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And many who were rich put in much. Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which make a quadrans. So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.””
This widow only had two mites, the last of her income, everything she ever owned, yet she came willingly and put all she had into the house of God. Her Sacrificial giving caught the attention of Jesus and he called his disciples to come and see, how people were giving out of their abundance but this widow woman gave her all.
Your giving attracts the attention of the master and his response is to bless you over and above your giving. When you give like this, you will never know lack and insufficiency because what you are actually saying to God is, I know you will provide. I trust you.
