Give in Love

David loved the house of God, his zeal and passion for the house of God was so strong that he would do anything for the house of God. His desire was to build the temple as a house of God, but the Lord did not allow him to. He gave his all that he possessed for the building of the house of God, but he never got to build the house. His son Johnathan build the temple of the Lord, but this did not stop David’s love for God and the house of God.

Our love should be the motivating factor in our giving. Our love and passion for the house of God should motivate us to sow radically and generously to the house of God to make sure the house of God never lacked any good thing. When you take care of the house of God, then God ensures that you are taken care of.

I know of people who sowed their time and labour in the house of God when they were not working and when they did start working, they were never without a job. God made provision for them and preserved them because they sowed of their time and energy into the house of God.
