Bearer of Good News

“The light of the eyes rejoices the hearts of others, And good news puts fat on the bones. The ear that listens to and learns from the life-giving rebuke (reprimand, censure) Will remain among the wise.”
The good news of the gospel is to be shared with everyone we meet. We are bearers of good news. We have our feet shod with the good news of the gospel. Those who win souls are wise.
Let us add another part to this good news. We meet too many people in this life who never have any good news to share. When you meet them, immediately they start complaining, about the weather, their job or how expensive things are. Let us not be this person, let people look forwarding to our company because we are people who encourage and build people up. We do not live on complaining street, we do not live in the suburb of regret, nor do wear a cloak of sadness all the time. No, we are the light of the world, a fresh drink of water to the thirsty and a blanket of love to the unloved. We are here to tell them and ourselves that Jesus loves us and he will never stop loving us.
