Talk Yourself to the Top – Part 2

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
(Hebrews 10:23 – NKJV)

Jesus always confessed who He was, so we too are to confess who we are in Him. We are to constantly believe and confess:

1. That we are redeemed. (Revelation 5:9)

2. That we are Born Again. (1 Peter 1:23)

3. That we have a New Nature. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

4. That our Redemption is a Fact. (Ephesians 1:7)

5. That we have a Good Life. (John 10:10) and,

6. That we have the Righteousness of Jesus. (1 Corinthians 1:30)

Learn to think and talk the good life. The process goes like this: Thoughts, Words and Deeds. Your words can either enslave you or set you free. “You are snared with the words of your lips, you are caught by the speech of your mouth.” (Proverbs 6:2 AMP) David realized this when he said, “Set a guard, O Lord, before my mouth; keep watch at the door of my lips.” (Psalm 141:3 AMP)

Therefore, you must change. First, fill your heart with the Word of God, begin to confess the Word until it becomes part of your nature and stand on the Word of God irrespective of what we see. When you simply admire the Word, it will not work and remember to face life fearlessly.
