Talk Yourself to the Top – Part 1

We are all called to live a good life but in order to live a good life, we must learn the good language. As believers we are supposed to be blessed at all times. For example, God blessed Abraham in every way -Genesis 24:1. To be blessed means to be empowered to have success in every area of life and to be the object of God’s Favor.

Although God wants us blessed, we cannot just sit back and wait for His blessings to fall upon us. We must pursue the blessings with our faith. How does God bless us? He speaks empowering words about something or someone and when we speak these empowering words about people and things, we speak blessings over them. Remember, we can also speak blessings over ourselves and situations.

Your thoughts are the seeds of your life. Your mouth is your method of planting those seeds and your words establish your standard of living. Your life will always be at the level of your conversation and always talk what you really believe. With your words, you constantly paint a public picture of your own inner self and you can discover how to talk yourself to the top and win with God.
