Beholding His Glory

Dr RJ Sing · 1 min read

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
2 Corinthians 3:18

The term beholding can have a sense of ‘reflecting’. The believer himself ‘reflects’ the Glory of the Lord just as the face of Moses reflected the Glory of the Lord. For Moses, the Glory eventually faded away, but under the New Covenant, the believer is changed by the Spirit of God. Now that you are born again and a child of the Most High God, you will continually reflect the Glory of the Lord.

Truth is seen clearly in the following Scripture, “He hath believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” John 7:38. Christ’s explanation is that the rivers of living water refer to the fullness of the Holy Spirit that has been given to you.

Be mindful, that the rivers of living water stream out of you to change circumstances and your environment. Your words, your life, your actions are living and is alive with the Power and Life of God. Remember that the Spirit of God now dwells in your temple. Let His Presence and Power flow out of your being. Allow the Spirit of the Lord to lead and change you each and every day.
