A Heart Filled with Love

This command given by Jesus was given in the old testament to the chosen people of God. We who are now living in the dispensation of grace must love God but we have come to the realization that we are being pursued by God and He loves us with an unending, unconditional love that goes beyond us loving him. In this walk of salvation we have a new commandment from Jesus, he says, love one another, as I have loved you. The demand on the chosen people of God is to love others and make room for others. This love is, love from the source, our God and then as we become receipiants of this love, we then share this love with others. God is interested in his whole family. We need to find his love first, accept his love and embrace his love so we become conduits for his love to flow through to others.

As we go out to witness to this dark and lost world, our currency is love. We extend ourselves with the love of God not just words, but actions as well. As we grow in this love of God, hurting and lost people will come to know the love of God. This love overlooks the offense of others and lends a hand to those in need.

The Thriver thrives in this love of God that overflows ot others.
