Nothing Can Separate Us From the Love of God

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”
The love of God is unending. There is nothing in this world that you can do to get God to love you more. He loves you, that is it. He has mercy and compassion towards you, no matter what. The bible uses the word “Agape”, this is the God kind of love, it is a love that is not earned, he loves you despite you or what you have done or will do. This love cannot change no matter what.
I love the above scripture that tells us that nothing we can do or say can separate us from the love of God. What an amazing love. In the deepest despair, that love comes in and penetrates our hearts, making us aware of this great love of God. there is no beginning nor end to this love of God. There are no requirements that we have to meet to qualify. Even when we were in sin, God loved us. God knew how hard it would be for us to love, so he shed his love abroad our hearts, by the Holy Spirit.
Our love on the other hand is conditional, we want the people around us is to meet certain conditions and requirements before we love them. If they do not meet the conditions we avoid them or turn away from them. We also treat people differently if we feel that they do not deserve to be loved. God does not work in this way. His love is unconditional.
