A Giving Heart

“Let each one give [thoughtfully and with purpose] just as he has decided in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver [and delights in the one whose heart is in his gift]”
We are givers, we are receivers and we are men and women that intentionally sow seed into the kingdom of God. We do not count the cost, we are not afraid whether the bills will be paid. We are not afraid of a rainy day or a sudden expense. We know that we know, in our knower that our God will provide our every need, according to His riches in glory.
The apostle Paul says, I do not desire a gift, Not that I seek the gift itself, but I do seek the profit which increases to your [heavenly] account [the blessing which is accumulating for you]. He desires that you receive the benefit of being a bonafide giver and seed sower into the house of God.
At this juncture, I wish to remind you of the priest/pastor/under shepherd in the house of God who ministers and teaches you the word of God. I love what the apostle Paul says in the book of Galations : The one who is taught the word [of God] is to share all good things with his teacher [contributing to his spiritual and material support]. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked [He will not allow Himself to be ridiculed, nor treated with contempt nor allow His precepts to be scornfully set aside]; for whatever a man sows, this and this only is what he will reap. Gal 6v6-7. There is such a flow of the grace of receiving in your life when you sow into the life of a man or woman of God. Participate and then share your testimony. I can testify to the goodness of God in this area. When a person sows into my life, I am reminded of the scripture that says, He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward.
A thriver is well aware of this principle and never fails to take the opportunity to sow wherever they can.
