“Give, and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure—pressed down, shaken together, and running over [with no space left for more]. For with the standard of measurement you use [when you do good to others], it will be measured to you in return.”
Luke 6v38

Dr Luke, the physician says in the gospel of Luke, give. Giving is a sign of your dependence on God. Giving is a characteristic of God. Giving connects us with the economy of God. In the world, our currency fluctuates, just check out the rand dollar exchange. It varies from day to day. In the Kingdom of God, whatever seed we sow (our money) goes into good ground and is not subject to fluctuate because our God multiplies our seed sown and we receive a harvest. In the kingdom, money is not just money but seed which has the power to reproduce.

And God is able to make all grace [every favor and earthly blessing] come in abundance to you, so that you may always [under all circumstances, regardless of the need] have complete sufficiency in everything [being completely self-sufficient in Him], and have an abundance for every good work and act of charity. 2 Corinthians 9v8

The seed given into the kingdom of God, attaches yourself to the economy of God and the responsibility for all grace to abound comes from our heavenly Father who ensures we are always in abundance and overflow. We are equal to whatever financial challenge we may face. Money is not just money, it is seed which has the power to reproduce after its kind. It is not subject to the interest rate, it goes far beyond that. Our seed has the power to affect our present and our future and the future of our generations to come.

God sees to it that the generous giver will not suffer want. Instead, God generously provides for those who give so that they can continue to do so.

for where your treasure is, there your heart [your wishes, your desires; that on which your life centers] will be also. Matt 6v21

This scripture indicates that we show who we are in terms of money by the way we give, if our heart is captured and possessed by money, then that is where our treasure is. We have a choice, money owns us, or we own money.

A thriver is a giver and generously gives, because a Thriver understands we are sons of God and our God shall supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. We can never suffer lack or be in want.
