A Yielded Heart
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“But thank God that though you were slaves of sin, you became obedient with all your heart to the standard of teaching in which you were instructed and to which you were committed.”
A man or woman who is passionately in love with God, is always position with a yielded heart. The Holy Spirit keeps them in their first love that they experienced with the father. When we met Jesus and when we were washed clean. When we experienced the love of God despite our old lives that was not pleasing to God. We were so in love with God that we wanted to be found in the house of God always. Praying was a joy and every time we got an answer, we were excited to share the victory with others.
Somehow, we got too familiar, we got used to the presence of God and the excitement slowly dissipates from our lives. We become distracted and our focus goes onto other things. God the blesser has blessed us so much that our focus is now on the blessing and we forget the blesser. This pains the heart of God. He longs for you to come into his presence. He looks forward to you engaging him and coming to him for the things you need in this life. Even if you have the means to purchase something, it delights Him if you go to him and ask Him to give you the best deal. Your fellowship with him means that much to Him.
I urge you to delight yourself in God. Return to your first love, and live with a yielded heart. It is not something you have to work on, just invite the Holy Spirit to come and teach you how to pray and fellowship with the Father. Set a time for you to fellowship with him and you will grow into a relationship with the Father that fills your whole day and whole life.
