Your Environment Can Limit you

“She said to them, “Do not call me Naomi (sweetness); call me Mara (bitter), for the Almighty has caused me great grief and bitterness.”
Naomi had lost her husband and her both sons in the land of Moab and returned with her daughter in law to her home country. Her name was Naomi, but she wanted to rename herself Mara because of all the bitter stuff she had experienced. She even blamed God for what she had gone through. Her mind was completely overwhelmed by thoughts of failure and she had lost hope. She needed a complete mindset shift as the previous environment had consumed her. Moab was not the land where God reigned so the curse was prevalent in that land. She needed to see the goodness of the Lord in this land of living. Only God could change her so she could embrace the blessing of the Lord. The moment she came into her homeland, the wisdom of God began to operate and she was able to instruct Ruth in the way she should go.
It is amazing how your environment can influence you. The feeling of despair fled and she began to see the possibilities that were available to her. Family of God the way you think matters. Never allow yourself, the luxury of a small mindset and feelings of failure and lack.
Always be open to the possibilities and opportunities God has provided for you. please do not allow your environment and the company you keep limit you in anyway. Put on the mind of Christ and allow the Holy Spirit to give you a willing mind in the day of power. He will expand and increase your world, making you live in a better place.
A thriver experiences challenges but never allows the challenges to limit them in any way. The wisdom of God is allowed to flow freely in the life of a Thriver.
