My Right to a Prosperous Mind

Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers”
3John1v2

Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, Phil 2v5

As He is, so are we in this world. We have been purchased by His blood. He entered into a new covenant with us. We have rights and privileges that are not connected to the law, where we have to do something for God to do something for us. The wages of sin is death and the gift of God is eternal life, one we have to work for to earn the wages, whereas the gift of Jesus Christ to us, is eternal life. Grace requires no works from us, no toiling and no striving. We are free in our mind, to think the thoughts of God. We have the right to think like Jesus did. We have the mind of Christ. We have received this mind through the indwelling Holy Spirit who has transformed our thoughts.

When we get up each morning, our thoughts should be of prosperity and overflow and not lack and insufficiency. We should allow our mind to dwell on all the goodness of God and every good thing he has blessed us with. We have to allow the Holy Spirit to train our mind to think this way and if anything, negative tries to come in, we need to cast down the imagination or thought, bringing it under the authority of Christ. Once our mind is prosperous, we will live a prosperous life because the two are now in alignment. The enemy will try his best to bring negative thoughts because that was how the old man thought, however, we have to take charge over our thoughts and reign them in. We say to ourselves that is not who I am now. The old me would have thought like that, but no more, no more. I am a victor and very successful in this life.

Embrace a prosperous mind. Receive a prosperous mind today and this prosperous mind will keep your emotions in check. You will soon learn not to be impulsive in talking or participating in conversations you should not take part in. Let’s practice together.
