The Blueprint for Flourishing

It is a lamp that illuminates the next step in your vision.

Trust the Word over your feelings or external circumstances.

When embarking on a journey, it is necessary for one to plan and execute a plan of action as to the direction you will take to get to where you need to go. If it a journey overseas, one would find out as much as you can about the place you are going to and how you will get there. The cost would be a big part of the decision and also finding the right flights will be a consideration. To guarantee a successful and pleasant journey we plan and make all the necessary arrangements for us to have a good holiday or trip.

In our spiritual life, it is not a hit and miss. We are deliberate and intentional. We cannot and should not just go about life each day, hoping for the best. We need to involve the creator of life. We need to yield to the Father of lights with whom there is no shadow of turning or mystery. God has our life planned and mapped out for us. The way we find out the plan and live a good successful life is by reading about the life we are called to, in the word of God. The word is the blueprint for us to flourish. This does not mean we will sail through life with no issues or difficulties. It just means that we are constantly being trained and developed by the Holy Spirit to handle each new day. We do not start the day out in fear or the unknown. We have the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us so we remain steadfast and strong no matter what we face.

Family of God, take the time to read the map and directions for our life (the living word of God). Cultivate a love for the word in your life to the point where you know that you know, failure is not an option nor has God included it in the plan for your life. The word is indeed a lamp unto your feet. It is an anchor and protection as you go through each journey. Let us journey together and thrive in this life.
