Spiritual Discernment
Pastor Wesley & Yajhna Sing · 2 min read

“Now while they were on their way, Jesus entered a village [called Bethany], and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was continually listening to His teaching. But Martha was very busy and distracted with all of her serving responsibilities; and she approached Him and said, “Lord, is it of no concern to You that my sister has left me to do the serving alone? Tell her to help me and do her part.”
Martha was the host who invited Jesus in and she was busy with so many things. Mary on the other hand understood who Jesus was, so she decided to take the best seat in the house, to sit at Jesus feet. She was interested in what he had to say so she could be transformed and changed from her old way of living. Martha could not understand this choice but definitely Mary made the right choice. Jesus needed to be fed, but he was better at feeding others, as his food was to do the will of the father.
My dear family, let us put God first, let us make the decision that the words of Jesus can change our lives and cause us to live in the overflow. This ordinary day to day life is not good enough for us. We need to make the decision to feed on the food Jesus has to give so that we can live a life that is super natural.
