In the Right Place at the Right Time

“Now an angel of the Lord spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the road which goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.” This is desert. So, he arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under Candace the queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship.”
Philip, according to the book of Acts was just a man that had been chosen as one of the 7 to assist at tables to take care of the widows that were being neglected whilst being fed. He could have been a man who was content with his lot in life. the disciples selected men who were full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit so the task at hand would be successful. Imagine that, just to wait tables, you had to be filled with the Holy Spirit and be willing to be led by him. Why? A man/woman who is led by the Holy Spirit and filled with the Holy Spirit will prosper and walk in wisdom. A low standard of life would never do for them. Philip was this man. He flourished in everything he did. He did the task he was called to and when this was done or even in the middle of doing this task, he continued to heal and perform miracles in the life of those he came in contact with. He lived the highest form of life. He was a man who was in the right place at the right now. How? His yielding to the Holy Spirit. His ears were open to the leading of the spirit of God. Do you realise the man he spoke to was not just a Eunuch to the Queen of Ethiopia, he was in charge of the finances of the Kingdom of Ethiopia. His getting saved, meant a breakthrough in the finances and economy of Ethiopia. Philip’s obedience caused this man to receive salvation. This salvation was not only for this man but for the generations that would come into contact with him.
Every man/woman or even child who gets filled with the Holy Spirit becomes a brand new man, or as the bible puts it “another man”. You are no longer just an ordinary man or person who is going about doing life. No, the Holy Spirit walks with you and everywhere you go, the Holy Spirit goes and there is potential for the impossible to take place. Doors of opportunity are flung open, little becomes much, insufficiency turns to abundance and nothing is impossible to you. The Holy Spirit is your connection to divinity, the access to heaven. Whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven, whatever you loose in heaven is loosed on earth.
You may say, but I live on the earth, the bible says, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the father so we have the right to speak to things and they will come to pass. Please let this revelation of who you are become a reality in your life. When this revelation becomes a reality to you, you will never allow sickness, disease or lack to ever remain in your life. Start speaking today, you are in the right place at the right time. This is your time, this is your season.
