The Blessing of the Name of Jesus

“And He told them, “Whoever welcomes this child in My name welcomes Me; and whoever welcomes Me [also] welcomes Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you [that is, the one who is genuinely humble—the one with a realistic self-view]—he is the one who is [truly] great.”
Jesus speaking to the disciples explains how effective one can be by using the name of Jesus. His name is above all names and at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and confess that Jesus is Lord. In the above scripture, submitting to the name of Jesus, by welcoming even a child in the name of Jesus brings untold rewards. We have tremendous power and blessings available to us, if only we learnt how to use the name of Jesus. We are a privileged people who know Jesus personally as Lord and saviour. We carry authority by using the name of Jesus over circumstances in our own lives and in the lives of those we minister to.
Take the time each day to welcome the presence of God in your home and speak the name of Jesus over your family, your children and even your finances. If you are facing a challenge or a difficulty, command it to bow to the name of Jesus and begin to declare what you would like to see, using the name of Jesus. You have a right to use the name of Jesus because of the blessing of salvation in your life.
