Walk in the Spirit
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read
“Stephen, a man full of faith [in Christ Jesus], and [filled with and led by] the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas (Nikolaos), a proselyte (Gentile convert) from Antioch. They brought these men before the apostles; and after praying, they laid their hands on them [to dedicate and commission them for this service].”
The criteria for the selection of men to only serve the widows at the table was that they be filled with the Holy Spirit and controlled by him. It is only by the power of the holy spirit that they are qualified to serve effectively. Walking in the spirit is an added advantage to the life of a born again believer. You experience extreme favour, soundness, wholeness and total prosperity in every area of your life. when you speak, people listen, doors are opened for you and you find people wanting to do things for you unexpectedly. You find yourself not striving or struggling but there is an ease of the spirit that saturates your life. You drip with the anointing to do mighty works. You are able to discern a situation and answer a matter with ease and finesse. It’s a glorious life. not a life free of struggles or challenges but a glorious life in partnership with the Holy Spirit. What would normally taking you a long time to accomplish, is accomplished is the shortest time because of the speed of the spirit of God in you.
