Show Honour

“Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour”
Honour means to show high esteem or great respect. Give honour to whom honour is due.
This is a art that needs to be developed in your life. It creates boundaries and causes you to be wise in your speech and in your dealings with the people you meet in your life. honour is respect shown, sometimes the person you are showing respect and honour to, does not deserve it, but it is not for you to question it. Just do what is right. The character of the person does not matter (especially those in authority or in leadership over you), your responsibility is to show respect and honour. It takes an enormous amount of discipline and courage to do this, but as you yield, the Holy Spirit raises you up and the authority level on your own life increases. The grace on your life increases causing you to take territory that you never thought would ever be yours.
Perhaps it sounds strange to you, but this is part of your growth as a son and daughter of the most high God. This is what we mature Christians begin to learn and grow in as the Holy Spirit works in us. The grace of honour is first given and then received in your own life. This is the life of a spirit filled Christian.
