Giving

Giving is a characteristic of our God, He gave his only begotten son that we might live. We were created in his image and likeness so each and every day he is making us more and more like him. Giving becomes part of our character and personality. We find ourselves giving more and more as we get to know the Lord better and better. We take on this characteristic and we enjoy the benefit it brings. I am not only talking about money, I am talking about love and kindness and compassion. This kind of giving makes the world a better place to live in.

Giving is a characteristic that must be allowed to develop if we want to live in our wealthy place. As we prosper, we give generously to the house of God and to others. Nothing we have actually belongs to us. Please do not become a victim to stinginess or withhold your giving. It is a vital part of your participation with the kingdom of God. As you participate in the kingdom of God financially, you create the capacity for you to yield a harvest far beyond your wildest imagination. Be a giver.
