Have Compassion
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 2 min read

“Moved with compassion [for his suffering], Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.” The leprosy left him immediately and he was cleansed [completely healed and restored to health]”
Whenever Jesus went about healing the sick, he was moved with compassion. The compassion he felt was what triggered the anointing for healing and everyone he touched was healed.
As a born again believer, we have the power by the anointing to heal others. We can even lay hands on ourselves and be healed. Compassion is a fruit of the spirit that is cultivated in us by the holy spirit as we allow him to work in us. Once again I will say, it does not just happen, the change in our hearts by the holy spirit brings out compassion that prepares us for our calling.
Healing is our bread as children, however in order for God to use us, we need a pliable heart and a heart that is moved with compassion so we can reach out and heal others. We live in a world where people are sick and dying, we need to allow ourselves to grow and look at our fellow man with compassion. Compassion is a trigger of the anointing to heal. What joy it is to see a person healed and well. Embrace this compassion. The world desperately needs it.
