Fight the Good Fight of Faith
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses”
We are called to fight the good fight of faith. This means we are constantly in a fight. A fight for our faith. A fight against the enemy and challenges that tries to derail us. The enemy tries his best to give us so much pressure that we want to give up. We refuse to give up, we refuse to give in. We stand strong and fight the good fight of faith. We will possess the land which has been promised to us by the Lord.
We were even given armour to fight effectively. The weapons of our warfare is not carnal, that means it is not physical weapons because we are not fighting against flesh and blood. We are fighting against principalities and powers and rulers of darkness. We need to cast down strongholds and thoughts that are trying to capture our confidence and faith. We need to stand up and fight against these things. All we will ever need in this life, Jesus, who is grace has already provided for us.
Never give up, never give in. You have the victory. You are more than an overcomer.
