Grace That Respects Others
Pastor Zubeda Sing · 1 min read

“Pay to all what is due: tax to whom tax is due, customs to whom customs, respect to whom respect, honor to whom honor”
Give respect and you are setting yourself up to receive respect. Show respect to your elders, and to those in authority. Cultivate respect in your daily lives. Do not live selfishly and only want people to respect you. No, you have to respect others. The word says give respect to whom respect is due. Sometimes it is good even to respect a person even if they are not really respectful to you. Your respect is like pouring cold water on them to bring them to their senses.
Respect other people’s opinions, even if it does not agree with what you are saying. Agree to disagree but walk in unity. Everyone has a right to respond a certain way, so we have to respect where they are at and sometime wait for them to grow from where they are at. You are making room for them to grow. When you do this, you are creating opportunities for your own future.
CONFESSION/PRAYER
Holy Spirit I am a student of your grace to develop respect in my life. I give respect and in turn I receive respect. I give respect where respect is due. Please teach me how and when to respect those I need to respect.
