Grace to Be a Person of Influence

Paul was a mighty man of God, an apostle used by God to bring the good news to the gentiles. He was imprisoned and had to stand before the magistrate as he had been handed over by the Jews. Paul was a prisoner, yet a great influence to many people. In this instance these leaders already knew about Paul, hence the question, do you want to persuade me to become a Christian. He a man who had been well trained by the Sanhedrin and his teacher was Gamaliel, a renowned teacher of the Law. Yet he counted all of this as useless except for his knowledge of Christ. He chose to allow the Spirit of God to work in him and bring about the changes that produced the spirit of influence and persuasion in his life.

God is changing you and preparing you for the audience he has called you to. Change is painful, yet very necessary for the calling to which you are called. Try your best not to complain in your pain and training. You are a person of great influence and you will change the world around you.
