Grace for Change

“But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth.”
Change is a constant in our lives. We will never stay the same. As the Holy Spirit begins his work in us, we will see the changes in our life. Some will be easy and seamless whilst others will be traumatizing and difficult. All the same, the spirit of God lives inside of us and he will give us the grace and comfort to overcome and embrace these changes. Look to him, call upon him and slowly the change becomes easier and easier.
Peter changed from a rough fisherman to an apostle of Christ winning 3000 souls to Christ.
Paul was thrown off his high horse and became an apostle to the gentiles.
John was the son of thunder, yet through his association with Jesus he was transformed and became the apostle who Jesus loved.
Change is not easy, yet it is a part of growth and part of the process of God working out the good for our lives. Embrace it, you have the grace for change.
Paul was clearly a changed man.
